Puppy Rearing and Health
I have had these beautiful dogs in my life since 2015 and they have truly brought me so much joy and love. Border Collies are the best co-workers and companion you could ever ask for! I am beyond grateful Mika (my first BC) came into my life.
We are more than excited for your new friend and here is what you can count on.
Nutrition and Health
-They will have been health checked, up to date on their shots, flea prevention, and deworming.
-Your puppy will be weaned on Open Farms Puppy Grain-Free kibble and nourishing kibble hydrators.
We believe in always trying to add unprocessed/raw/dehydrated foods to our dog's bowls. By doing so it will not only add life to their food, but also to the dogs themselves, giving them every opportunity to be at their best.
RawFedK9 has made it convenient to feed our pack as nature intended, they thrive because of it.

Up Bringing
-We raise our puppies around children and farm animals. We use Puppy Culture, ESI and ENS protocols for peace of mind that our puppies are being handled evenly on a daily basis. We are always adding ways of enrichment for our puppies to have the best start possible.

-We start obedience training, crate training, and desensitizing at an appropriate pace from 6 weeks and on until they leave.
-Your puppy will be ready for its new home when it is 8wks old.
Genetic Health Testing + OFA Hips/Elbows
All our dogs are health tested for genetic diseases using Optimal Selection and have their hips and elbows evaluated by OFA judges, so we know our dogs are fit to bring in the next generation of Border Collies. We do these extra steps to know our dogs are not at risk of these health factors. Chasing Dreams only wants what is best for the Border Collies. One of the biggest considerations before breeding is ensuring they have the natural ability of herding but also making sure they live healthy lives for generations. ABCA Registry
Our dogs are registered through American Border Collie Association.
After the last puppy is placed, I will send all the new owner's information, and their puppy's official name to be registered through ABCA. You have 12 characters available for your puppy's name. ABCA takes up to 6 weeks to process paperwork. When I receive the registration papers they will be mailed to the new owners. There is no additional fee for registering your puppy. You will have your puppy's lineage in your hands.
Purchase Information/Policy
All our male and female puppies are priced the same because they all have the same value no matter their pattern or color. Although we love our unique colors their mindset is what makes the dog.
Puppies can be held for approved families with a *non-refundable holding deposit of $500 (Using Venmo, CashApp, or Zale). The deposit will come off the full purchase price. The remaining amount is due at pick up. Pick up is cash only, we will not accept mobile payments at that time. Prolonged pickup can happen due to your life's circumstances and is understandable. We will continue to hold your puppy until they are 9 weeks old. Thereafter you will be charged $100/weekly boarding fee.
Transporting your puppy is an option. If your puppy needs to be transported or shipped all additional costs of doing so is covered by you.
Chasing Dreams only wants what is best for our dogs but also their new families. We wholeheartedly believe in trusting the breeder to know what home is best for their puppies. One of our priorities is making sure a puppy is the right match for the family's lifestyle and experience. Better placement of puppies keeps this breed safe and keeps pups off the streets and out of shelters.
We reserve the right to refuse the placement of any of our dogs before the deposit is received.
*Traumatic event was to happen to your puppy while in our family's care a full refund of the holding deposit would be returned to you.
